Greetings

Fresh news for everyone!

The third course of my formation has already starded… and it begins full of good and great news for me personally, for what is happening in Madrid, and for what God wants to do through us.

Who did say holidays? God had a great plan for me this summer that has been useful for I could get all the sustenance for this whole course: a really good job! And if I tell you, you will not believe it. See: I started looking for a job on March to work in Barcelona during summer, looking at apps, webpage, offers in social media, sending letters… but nothing appeared. I was somehow desperate because I was going to find nothing at all.

On May 24th, I went out of Madrid, so I arrived to Barcelona the next day, 25th. The same afternoon, someone called me for a job interview the following day. After passing the day with them, they hired me, and on 27th I began working with them. I was good at it, and I even got the chance to change to a better department after two weeks, in which I stayed the rest of summer.

Thanks to that, I have been able to help my parents with their difficult situations, and I am still working here in Madrid with total flexibility, and in another company in the same sector. Is not wonderful what God has done?

A working summer

I would like, after telling you all that is upper, to summarise the prayer topics here:

To be able to serve correctly in every place, and to be humble, specially working in the different projects.
ICEA’s project.
To show the gospel in a correct, clear and comprehensive way.
For the souls who meet Jesus.
Wisdom for I can apply all what I study at Sefovan and do not forget it as just theory.
Thank God for all what He does.
For God to continue providing all what students need.
My ministry contract and, specially, our new project.
The different ministries:
- Social work at ICEA: Aluche is giving food to the needed people every Tuesday on the morning, and they can also hear the Gospel.
- OnTheRedBox®: From Monday to Saturday, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. they share the gospel in many different ways at Puerta del Sol.
- Barajas Biblical Church (IBB): An important testimony point that is slowly growing in a place where there was nothing.
- Sefovan evangelism campaigns: During summer, Sefovan worked with different churches at Madrid and fruits can be seen now, as there are lots of new believers who are growing while they are part of a church.
- #ChuecaParaCristo (#ChuecaForChrist): This Project is moving forward now with the help of another marriage. Thanks be given to God for He is sending workers to his harvest field!
My economic situation: I still need economical support. The situation is not the best, and I do not like to do it, but I have to ask for support.If you have in your heart to make me an offering personally, go to the Support me section on the webpage.

Prayer topics

Farewell

At the moment, that is all. It is said that “What is good, when brief, is twice as good”. God will continue taking care of me and you who read me, but it is important that we pray for each other. Therefore, I hope everything will go as well as it will for me, who can never complain because it is God who takes care of us.

New course, new projects

Ministry contract

Sefovan

Sefovan is getting known, but it does not have its own building. Having its own building is fundamental to have the ability to develop its ministry in a complete way.

Just a part of the money is still needed so they can begin building it. As I said in other letters, this building will not only be for the students, but also as an impact place where they will also do social work to help anyone who needs it in the neighbourhood.

As every year, our ministry work for the course has to be written as a commitment before God, with ourselves, and SEFOVAN institution. This year is not different, and I have written my contract and you may read it here: Ministry Contract. In the contract, there is a summary of the past two years and what I have projected for this years at the different projects I am involved in.

In my ministry contract it is clearer, but God put a charge on my heart for youth at Madrid. But I have also seen how difficult is that they come into the church. What is the solution? Take church to them instead of taking them to church. How? With a paraeclesial ministry for them, in which they may feel all welcome.

I will do this project along with other three mates, also orienting it to alienated groups, as churches are not prepared to adopt this people profile; teenagers of the neighbourhood where it will be; and also to people’s spiritual growth, both converted through this ministry and those who want to come, through worship sessions and Bible studies.

I CEA

The replanting project of the church is going on wheels. The team participated in the second congress of “M4 Spain” in Guadalajara on September, and with it we can continue with our project. We have been working in the next steps that we are taking to make it every time more possible, and for the people to feel called to be part of a so need vision. Our challenge is to share the Gospel with 50 near people within the next 6 months!

God is answering our prayers. People who is coming to Christ, is already serving and taking part of the different ministries in responsibility places at church! They are desiring to share what they have experimented and we cannot let this stop. We want Christ to be glorified with all what He is doing through this church.
