Greetings

Time… Time is what we all need!

We are moving forward, without stopping, without time nor to sleep (that’s so true), between studies, job, and projects, between books, exams and expositions, and our time really flyes. But everything is going well.

If I did not write you until now, sincerely, it is not because I have not though on you, but because lots of things happen very quickly. Firstly, you know that my first dedication here are my studies… and with all the different subjects (that have already been a lot), papers and exams that they include, there were weeks in which sleeping was a privilege. No only this, but participating in places and ministries for helping them also consumes part of my (short) free time.

At the same time, I have to thank the Lord because I can work those afternoons in which I have time for it, and sincerely, it has been fruitful all this time, making me possible to continue and affording the different costs for being here.

Really stressing months

I would like, after telling you all that is upper, to summarise the prayer topics here:

To be able to serve correctly in every place, and to be humble, specially working in the different projects.
ICEA’s project.
To show the gospel in a correct, clear and comprehensive way.
For the souls who meet Jesus.
Wisdom for I can apply all what I study at Sefovan and do not forget it as just theory.
Thank God for all what He does.
For God to continue providing all what students need.
My ministry contract and, specially, our new project.
The different ministries:
- Social work at ICEA: Aluche is giving food to the needed people every Tuesday on the morning, and they can also hear the Gospel.
- OnTheRedBox®: From Monday to Saturday, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. they share the gospel in many different ways at Puerta del Sol.
- Barajas Biblical Church (IBB): An important testimony point that is slowly growing in a place where there was nothing.
- Sefovan evangelism campaigns: During summer, Sefovan worked with different churches at Madrid and fruits can be seen now, as there are lots of new believers who are growing while they are part of a church

At the moment, that is all. God is at control of everything. God knows what we need every moment. I have asked for time, and He gave me the opportunity of being on “time of sick”. What I am sure about id that being ant His service, I miss nothing; that at His side, I have everything I need, and what seems to be bad, it isn’t actually bad (Romans 8:28).

Prayer for healing

Last Tuesday, March 14th, I took surgeon on a cyst, which does not let me work for a time until doctor’s healings are completed. It is an intense pain, and this cyst has been there for long (since 2014), so I need you to pray for me for healing and for the pain to be as tolerable as possible, because doctors say that it will take at least three months for healing.

The project I am working on Aluche Church goes well and forward. These months, with a change on the pastoral, and with Gonzalo as Pastor now, we are doing great steps towards a more open church and ministry for the neighbourhood.

We are doing many familiar cinema sessions in which we project free all-ages films such as “Finding Dory”, we are near to do a jumble sale so we can sponsor a Compassion kid, and we are looking the date to place a café-concert for the people to know the church.

And how is all of this possible? Church people is getting involved more and more in all these activities that we are doing. And this is translated in that every time there are more people who are visiting us and who want to know more about us and with lots of questions. If you have any idea, it will be also welcome.

As we said before, God is answering our prayers. People who are coming to Christ, are already serving and taking part of the different ministries in responsibility places at church! They are desiring to share what they have experimented and we cannot let this stop. We want Christ to be glorified with all what He is doing through this church.

The project is in its very initial stage, and we are doing sportive activities for teenagers and young people in Barajas neighbourhood from time to time, and we also meet them to have good conversations with them, but we are not totally established, because the time we dispose of is really short.

And related to the replanting project, during the last weekend of March we will be participating in the third M4 congress. We will continue our formation to make the project move, and make it grow to reach more people.

For this reason, we are already working on the previous tasks and courses, which is being really beneficial for us. It is great to count with an international supportive team for people who we are working in such projects.

Sefovan students and their families

Students pass through bad economic situations, and this makes some of them to leave, not only because of them, but because of their families. I want you to continuously think about not only student’s situation, but also their families’.

My family’s situation is not either good. They are still dependant on government helps, and in other people so they can carry on. I ask you to pray for them, and also for all those who we are here.

How can you be part of the projects?

Imagine to be able of being part of a project. I know maybe you do not have time, but there are other ways to be part of them. One it’s praying. Praying for this all, for everything that I do and we are doing. But also, supporting me economically. Why? Because everything has its price, and I need to be able to carry on without the worry of not knowing if I will be able to continue studying, if the project will continue, or if I will be able to continue help my church.
